The Science Behind DRX9000

How Spinal Decompression Works

The DRX9000 applies a precisely controlled, logarithmic pull force to isolate specific compressed spinal segments, creating a healing environment inside damaged discs.

True Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression

The only system that achieves true decompression through logarithmic distraction forces. This short overview explains how the DRX9000 isolates a single damaged disc and creates the negative pressure that lets it heal.

What happens in a session
  1. 1

    Targeted Isolation

The DRX9000 identifies and isolates the exact damaged disc level. A computer-controlled pull force is applied exclusively to the compressed spinal segment, not the entire spine.

  2. 2

    Negative Pressure Vacuum

The gentle logarithmic stretch creates negative intra-discal pressure, pulling herniated or bulging disc material back inside the disc and away from pinched nerves.

  3. 3

    Nutrient Re-Hydration

The vacuum effect draws water, oxygen and healing nutrients into the dehydrated disc, promoting natural tissue repair and long-term disc health.

What To Expect

Relax While Your Spine Heals

Each DRX9000 session is designed for your comfort. You lie comfortably on the padded table while a computer-controlled harness gently applies targeted decompression force to the affected spinal level.

In Plain English

What Is Actually Going On In Your Back

No medical jargon, just what a disc is, why yours hurts, and what the DRX9000 does about it.

HealthyHealthy spinal disc between two vertebrae

How a healthy disc looks

Between each bone in your spine sits a disc, a soft springy cushion. When it is healthy it stays plump and round, holding the bones apart so the nerve has room to pass through.

The problemHerniated disc bulging and pressing on the nerve

What is happening in your back

Years of pressure squash the disc flat. It squeezes out to the side, which is the bulge or herniation, and presses on the nerve. That pressure on the nerve is the pain running down your leg.

🧹

Think of the disc as a sponge. Squash a wet sponge and the water squeezes out, leaving it flat and stiff. Let it go and it soaks the water back up. Your disc works the same way, and it cannot soak anything back up while your body weight is pressing down on it all day.

So how does the DRX9000 fix it?

  1. 1

    It takes the pressure off

You lie down and the table gently pulls, easing the two bones apart by a few millimetres. It is slow and comfortable and you will not feel a stretch.

  2. 2

The disc gets room to pull back in

With the squeeze released, the bulge is drawn back inside the disc and away from the nerve. Less pressure on the nerve means less pain down the leg.

  3. 3

    It drinks fluid back in

Like the sponge, the disc pulls in water and nutrients. That is what lets it heal rather than just feel better for an afternoon.

What the disc is doing on the table

The arrows show the gentle pull opening space between the bones. The bulge eases back in, the nerve is freed, and fluid flows into the disc, the part that actually repairs it.

Each session takes about 30 minutes. Most people find it relaxing enough to fall asleep.
