Introducing Acupuncturist Leslie Jafarace, L.Ac., LMT
Leslie Jafarace, L.Ac., LMT has joined the team at Strand Spine Institute as a Licensed Acupuncturist. Graduating from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin, Texas (AOMA) with a master’s degree in Science in Oriental Medicine, Jafarace has worked and trained around the world with some of the most distinguished physicians, educators and researchers in the Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture field.
Board certified, Leslie's diverse clinical background is an asset to patients who are seeking natural, long-term solutions to their health problems. As a licensed massage therapist, Certified Oriental Bodyworker, and herbologist, Jafarace has many intensive healing tools at her disposal when treating a patient. She is able to offer her patients a variety of Oriental Medicine techniques including cupping, sometimes all within one session, to bring rapid, lasting relief.
"A patient hardly ever shows up presenting just like the text book," said Jafarace. "Having more than one modality and knowledge from other healing realms can make all the difference in an effective treatment experience."
While Jafarace specializes in women's health including menopause and infertility as well as pain management, her experience covers a broad range of health issues.
