I Couldn't Have Done It Without You!
As a year round competitive swimmer, I spend a lot of my time in the pool. When championship season comes around, it is critical to be at our peak fitness level. A week before this year’s state championships, I injured my shoulder and upper back during practice. The pain was severe and was definitely putting my ability to compete in question.
I went to see Dr.Fico and received an evaluation and an adjustment followed up by laser therapy treatment. I felt an immediate improvement. The laser therapy dramatically sped up the recovery process. Following Dr. Fico’s advice, I practiced kick sets only for several days and received daily adjustments and laser therapy treatments the week leading up to the state championships.Over the 3-day meet, I competed in morning preliminary races to qualify for the evening finals. I went on to win 4 Gold Medals and 4 Silver Medals and the Individual High Point Award for my age group.
